Archery GB Instructor Plus+ Award

The Archery GB Instructor Plus+ Award is designed for existing instructors who aim to develop archers beyond the introductory level. This course focuses on enhancing participants' skills and knowledge, enabling them to coach archers who have already experienced a taster or "have a go" session. The course covers advanced shooting techniques, safety management, session planning, and equipment maintenance, with a particular emphasis on shooting at greater distances.

The ArcheryGB Instructor Award is a prerequisite for this course

Course Objectives:

Develop participants' ability to refine archers' shooting form and accuracy at greater distances.
Equip instructors with the skills to design and deliver multiple engaging and varied archery sessions.
Ensure comprehensive understanding and implementation of safety protocols.
Teach effective maintenance and basic repair of recurve bows and related equipment.
Provide continuous assessment and constructive feedback to support archers' progression.
